Digital printing is similar to screenprinting but instead of having a separate screen for each color, digital printing prints directly on the shirt from a design sent from a computer.​ This works especially well with photographs and multi-colored designs. Digital printing uses ink in only four colors - magenta, cyan, yellow and black.
